Typical of teen depression
Depressed teenagers react to this state of mind by
typically tending to feel hopeless, feel exhausted, sleep
more, have many dreams, struggle with behavioral,
emotional and academic problems, experience weight loss
and or abuse drugs. This behaviour is typical in teen depression.

Teenage depression: Teens may seem difficult, irritable
and short-tempered, rather than simply "down". We
should also take note of the fact that depression in
teenagers may come on suddenly or it may occur as a
flaring up of longstanding problems. In this state of
mind the teen can't help him/herself and needs to be
helped to transform his/her troubled life, by teaching
him/her the importance of the responsibility for
taking control of his/her thoughts, his/her words
and actions.
Suicide is the third leading cause of death among teenagers
It is most disturbing to notice that suicide is the third
leading cause of death amongst teenagers in the United
States. And what's more disturbing, is that there is a
close link between teen depression and suicide.
It is furthermore disturbing to become aware of the fact
that 90% of teenager suicide victims were suffering from
at least one diagnosable, active psychological disorder
at the time of death. Most often this disorder is
teen depression!
